    Turn 119 ==> Sophix

    The WISE today reports that the area around Caerphilly is now almost clear of heathen troops. Three Samarai and a Legion fell to Welsh forces earlier today, and the it is believed that the path is now almost clear to begin the counter-offensive against Rome.

      Turn 120 ==> Sophix

      Our Lord Demosthenes announced that three new cities have been established within the Welsh Kingdom, with another three planned very shortly.

      Added to this is the imminent completion of Gutenburg's Bible, to spread the word of The Lord amongst our people, and to keep out the heresy of the Roman Empire.

          Steve Waugh the Legendary voices his concerns over the Gutenburg Bible, whose reputation precedes it, and wonders aloud whether certain Welsh citizens of a particular religious persuasion intend to forcefully thrust this "bible" on the peaceful and trusting Australians .

          Let it be known that such endeavours shall be met with distaste by Steve Waugh the Legendary, who will consider such acts as threats to Australian sovereignty .

            Wise Australians, fear not. The only people who have to fear are those who have proved their contempt of Welsh sovereignty by unprovoked attacks.

            The romans will now pay the price, but the Australians and Egyptians have both been the epitomy of courteousness and nobleness. We wish you weel and all the success in the world.

            Indeed, The WISE reports that the Australians have scientific knowledge unbeknownst to the Welsh. It is obvious that your Empire is thriving, and long may it continue.

                Turn 123 ==> Sophix

                Shavlor, where have all your units gone? My troops are finding locating them more difficult tha expected. Is this because they are no longer in existence?

                  My my, this is a far cry from a turn a day is it not?

                  Who has the turn, and how long before it is played? Is it Sophix ? He did say something about having exams and what-not.

                    Sophix,

                    I've resent turn 123 as requested. Have a nice day. BTW, how are your exams going? Are they your finals? Good luck, I'm in a similiar position, and in less than a month I won't be a student any more.

                    Back to the real world I guess...

                        Sophanthro, I've got until June 1st, that's my last exam. I'm a final year Politics student, and today (well yesterday now) I handed in two essays, one on political violence, and one on the French party system.

                        I've just got a terrorism essay, due this Monday, and after that, two group projects, one on Terrorism and one on the Third World. I only have two more exams, France and Fascism. Then it's all over. Still, I know that I'll end up working in a bar or restaurant somewhere....

                        So what do you do? Are you in your final year now?

                            Nothing much to report. I'd almost forgotten what I was doing in this game. We were at a turn per day not so long ago. What's happened?

                                Hey, guys! I haven't posted for a while so i thought i'd break up the monotony

                                Reading back through past comments i noticed the wise and considerate opinions of the great Demosthenes, and thought it pertinent to remind the foolish Shavlor of his folly. It looks as though this game is slowly becoming a mutual admiration society, even a utopia if you will, of which the treacherous Romans do not belong.

                                Demos, if you ever need peace-keeping forces to help contain evil Roman aggression, just holler
