    News from the Front:

Intelligence reports were cut off today as one of our undercover agents, disguised as a slaver, disappeared. Officials have stated the agent is missing, presumed deceased. A day of mourning is proposed whereupon a posthumous awarding of the Cross of Demosthenes will also be delivered. Another undercover agent escaped the same fate as his comrade, claiming diplomatic immunity and returning safely to the luscious lands of Wales.

Battle testing of the new Welsh cannons has seen success. The bombardment of Caesarea has shown that musketeers are indeed slow to dodge falling cannon balls, one of whom proving this with his by his untimely demise.

More troops are expected to join the Eastern Front shortly, and public morale is said to be fully behind the campaign.

    Cariad,

Mayans are celebrating the new embassy in Virconium. No casualties to report - in fact the exploratory unit was able to defeat the lone phalanx inside the city. Mayan scouts reported a lone Musketeer fleeing northward after getting a glimspe of the Mayan army.

Hextapul also sends his regards to Sophix - there seems to be a riot in one of his cities. The Mayan government hopes that Sophix can restore order to his city without loss of life, during these turbulant times.

A riot? We believe that Hextapuls messenger was confused with the ever present Junk string cleric.

              News from the Front:

Celebrations were ringing out across the Welsh nation today as the Welsh army struck it's first blow to the Roman empire.

Caeserea fell to the might of Wales, without the loss of any units. Demosthenes was said to be overjoyed at the result, claiming that it proved a victory for all oppressed people the world over. "Now is the time to rise up against T.A.F.K.A.B. The Mayans and the Welsh have shown that the Romans are not the invincible force they would have us believe".

Intelligence reports show that there is a goodly number of Roman forces heading towards the freshly liberated city of Caeserea. A number of musketeers have been noted, but it is beleived that the force now garrisoned inside Caeserea will be able to repel any form of counter attack.

              Demosthenes.

Reports of the untimely demise of a Welsh cannon battalion have been confirmed today. Demosthenes was said to be upset by this setback, as the Welsh cannons have been proven most successful in the war against TAFKAB. More cannons are said to en route, looking to avenge their comrades.

Another Welsh unit dies. I didn't know that only two cannons could do so much damage Demos.

Two more foolish musketeers fall to the power of the Welsh cannon. With more cannons on the way, will TAFKAB be able to hold out?
