Monkey's 2nd PBEM game turns....

"Home again at last!", sighed Dieter. "So many seasons since I've been back, and how this place has grown." Walking amongst the many huts and hovels of Berlin, Dieter stopped to observe as the workmen put the finishing touches on the villages new Granary. Many more mouths could be fed when the food is properly stored like this, he thought. As if to prove his point, a group of small children ran by laughing and shouting as they played warriors with wooden swords. When I was a boy, we dreamed of being a mighty warrior and to heft the great spear! Now, it seems,a shiny sword made of bronze is all that catches their eye. Dieter made his way to Tribal Hall, and stepped in just as the Council sat down to meet. "Word has come to us from the West over the mountains that there are Other tribes," began Hanz, the oldest Chief." We must soon decide how we will come to live with them, and how the land and the hunts will be divided." he continued. "The Germans are a great people, but we are not many." another chieften added."We would be wise to tread lightly until we can learn more of this Other tribe." Dieter sat down between them and raised both his hands. "I have travelled much these seasons, and I have seen many things. I believe we are best to send word to these tribes that we are peaceful, and want only to farm our lands and follow the hunts. I will go west with the warriors and meet these tribes and send word of our meetings to the Council." All the chieftens began talking at once until Hanz stood and folded his arms. "It is done. Dieter shall be our messanger, may his travels be safe." The many chieftens and warriors, both in and outside the hall,began to stomp their feet in applause. Soon the pyre would be lit in celebration.....

Okay it looks like Sunday is a fine date for most people. We can do one this Sunday... which should be today for most people already. I still need confirmation from Blue Max, Don and Lung if they read this message on time...

If not we'll have to make it next Sunday then... oh yeah and I'm going on a four day camp this coming Thursday so someone please set me to an AI for that time.... thanks

sorry monkey, next sunday is no good idea for me, i won't be avaible at all that weekend. I'm not sure yet when my pause begins, if on friday afternoon or saturday morning. but i defintely won't be able to make a turn before let's say 18:00 apolyton on next sunday, so i wouldn't be too glad if you made that sunday into a highturntraffic day.
for the completeness i'll already give you my next vacation, which will be wednesday 6th around midnight (in the morning) apolyton to thursday 7th around 14:00, when i'm going to give the european parliament the honour of my visit.
of course you are free to switch me to an ai on those times
