I would like to get into an e-mail game. I would like stock rules with all units included. From 4000bc to 3000ad or whoever wins first. Count me in.

I am interested, but would like some idea of how long you want between turns, if you want AI players, etc. Won't know all the options till the patch comes out for PBEM from Activision, though.

ya know, if we are gonna do an e-mail game - speed wont be a factor - right? Well then, how about a HUGE map with as many human players as possible and use the 32 civ capability and fill the unused slots with AI. I would say one turn a day, yeah? We would have to agree not to attack a player if he notifed us he would not be able to play for awile though, or at least give command of the empire to a trusted ally.

well since its e-mail I don't think it really matters how long the game is. I would think a nice long game with 5 people is good what do you all think?

Well its a shame the PBEM patch isn't ready, but that will give us time to practice playing CTP. When that patch does come out you guys let me know when you want to start playing by e-mail.

Hmm never even considered an EMAIl game before. How does one work? Concept sounds good as time zone wont be a problem I figure?
