        ---

But, if you can make a good sincronization maybe 3 years will be enough
i really dont assume it will take full 24 hours for a turn.
in our all-german-speaking game we do 2-3 turns at some days. and then still we had the mentioned black sheep.

as far as i know you guys, we'll be much faster, especially with time zone synchronization

if i could just find a way to get to more than 8 players....
is there a special forum for such things ?
i would be happy if one of you could post there and ask
Baal: "You dare mock me ?"

I'm not talking about first couple turns, but consider every turn within 7 days as fast one.
Zone synchronisation will not help later when people will drop out and in.

I think Kralj is right Mathemagician -- especially with 8 or more players. You say that you were averaging 2 to 3 turns per DAY with an 8 player game in Germany??? WOW! That's great... But, I don't think you will get that here . Look at the Eagles at War game. That started over 2 years ago and they haven't made it to turn 100 yet. Maybe if everyone is very diligent you will get 2 or 3 turns a week at best. So anyone signing up should know beforehand that this game will take about 3 years to complete.

nono im not saying we AVERAGE 2-3 turns per day.
but on the good days we had this number.
and the bad days were usually with those players not motivated to play, so i estmated we would have more good days with you guys around here.
but if all of you keep telling me otherwise..

well, anyway, as long as it takes 3 years and not 7, its fine for me

I should have mentioned that I play
most days at 6AM CST (short) and 10PM CST (longer)

I think GMT is about 8 hours ahead of me.

                          Awlrighty then!
I'll play ( until I'm dead or you find somebody better ).
These games are slow though, I'm in chicken run and I
get a turn every 2-3 weeks! But that doesn't mean we can't
                          do better!
Can I be " Chop feng-shui " of the Chinese.

                                okay
i would say lets go with 7, have one AI and maybe someone can replace the AI later on (i think i read in the word FAQ that this should be possible)

could i have the emails of everyone that didnt gave it yet and with whom i dont have email games running ?
