Of course he could have used the "I'm not here" thread - that would have been more correct.

Most have accepted to wait for him in other games, so I guessed that would be OK here also.

Well, I don't agree that would be OK.
It's one of the slowest games anyway. I mean two years for 90 turns!
Some more commitment is necessary here. One should at least notify others. 24 hours rule must have meaning or we don't need it. I don't think we should count minutes, but one week?
My vote is for immediate nexting and if it will happen to me once, so be it!
