If nations of the world are going to make ecopacts, then they should also share conversation to those less fortunate. Is there a nation out there that will be willing to share this valuable technology.
So one guy turns to another guy and says "T.A.I." His friends says "What?" He responds by saing "Think about it;)"
Once again the Romans have sent to us a copy of their ecopact.
We the Incans have absolutely no experience with a treaty of this type. What are the requirements of the treaty? What is considered a breach? What are the penalties for a breach? What is the duration of the pact? We will require answers to this before we consider signing.
Additionally, our advisors have informed us that the Romans have developed the technology of Conservation. We will require that Conservation be shared with us before we will enter into the ecopact.
It's not the responsibility of any nation of the world to demand conservation... though I know my nation will happily BUY conservation from any nation wiling to aide my people in protecting our planet. While We understand the Incan need for a reason to agree it is my people's hope that the threat of our beautiful World being ravaged with Global Warming and floods would be enough to not stave off world production but world pollution.
EcoPacts are an agreement between nations that both will strive to end their pollution as quickly as possible. They last for about 50 years and at the end of that time it is hoped that the world's pollution has reached cleaner levels. At that point, if any nation has helped to bring about harm to the environment after the end of the Pact (and of coastal cities) war will most likely break out unless the polluting nation can properly offer some sort of compensation.
Those are the Mayan views of how EcoPacts are to be enforced... other nations may feel differently about them, but it is agreed (hopefully) throughout the world that pollution needs to be reduced.
I'm not conceited, conceit is a fault and I have no faults...
Civ and WoW are my crack... just one... more... turn...
