R.E newbies probably leave after the way administrators treat them after they have made a mistake, get burnt by solver for making that mistake (with no explanation as to what u may be doing wrong) , then get barred for 24hrs. Sorry but i dont spend my life on a computer , i have a life, and a thread to me is something made from cotton that you sew a button back on with. this is no game arcade. Apolyton have many games and are still stuck in ancient times with this kind of game site. amazing that this game moves through the times faster than Apolyton...........

It would be more appropriate though if you would not flame the site itself for the single actions of a forum moderator. Apolyton is not the admins nor the mods alone but all the member that constist it as well.

The games are not controlled by the admins of the site or the forum mods but rather the players so it's up to the players that the games delay and the forums are simply used as an alternative way to communicate with each other. Apolyton has nothing to do with that...

im talking about the whole thread deal. it sucks. why not have a lobby where u can enter and choose the game u wish to play??
makes sense to me and it works for other game site so why not here? im sure im not the first to submit a new thread instead of posting a reply too. if i am you're all a bunch of computer nerds who need to get out into the sunlight

i wasnt replying to anyone so i thought to start a new thread. maybe you should clear that up. i dont spend my life in chat rooms replying or starting new threads. all you had to do was tell me to reply instead of post new and it would have been fine. Redbull had to tell me what i was doing wrong and havent had a problem posting in the wrong place since. I just wanted a game and was burnt for a new thread instead of a reply well sue me

Lobbies are available to online multiplayer and not PBEM. I guess you mean a section/forum specifically for new games. Well, it has its positive and negative points but that is a job of the owners and not ours. That is the purpose of the Recruitment Center, to gather all challenges in a single thread anyway.

But what I don't understand is why you two are quarreling for a misunderstanding like that?

What's the big deal?

Computer nerds?

Page 6 Update

Players wanted

a) Chicken Run (8 players, regular map, early renaissance (turn 33), weak, vacancies unknown but likely)

b) M. Darkheart also has a game idea...

The map is going to be gigantic, blood lust on, normal start (1 settler). I might even consider lowering trade goods so it takes longer to research. I like very long games with lots of strategy decisions. And I like lots of players, like 8 or so, so that's why i need the biggest map possible. I even found a file that can make the "gigantic" map twice its size, I haven't tried it though since I don't know how to use the file so I'm going for normal "gigantic" map. But with twice "gigantic" you can have like over 10 players, that would be great if I can find enough players.

c) Need a permanent replacement in Monkey 1 for the Chinese - the first and oldest game in the forum. Relatively good position, Diamond Age. A good chance for the newer players to see an advanced game ending.

d) Contact blackice for a position available in Bulletproof.

e) Diplomatic game... contact ronnyJnrJnr for more details.
