Players wanted

a) Chicken Run (8 players, regular map, early renaissance (turn 33), weak, vacancies unknown but likely)

b) blackice

will be starting a new ocean island mountain game if enough people are interested. No mod this time 4 to 5 settlers.

c) blackice

will also be starting a world famous keygen mod game [soon] too. Random map the rest is up to the players.

d) M. Darkheart also has a game idea...

The map is going to be gigantic, blood lust on, normal start (1 settler). I might even consider lowering trade goods so it takes longer to research. I like very long games with lots of strategy decisions. And I like lots of players, like 8 or so, so that's why i need the biggest map possible. I even found a file that can make the "gigantic" map twice its size, I haven't tried it though since I don't know how to use the file so I'm going for normal "gigantic" map. But with twice "gigantic" you can have like over 10 players, that would be great if I can find enough players.

e) redbull has just e-mailed me with a game idea as well...

I just had an idea for a game. It'll me a medium map, to cut down on time, and ruins are not on the map to eliminate the "lucky win" factor. As many players as possible, and it'll be Bloodlust and Pollution. Barbarians will be Raging, and we'll have 7-8 settlers, so at least some will survive barbarian threat. The amount of goods is high, and land is at 40%.

Yes, you need an e-mail address. Tell you what... with Alien Seed I'll happily be your second... if you don't like what's going on you can always drop and tell me and then throw me the turn. I can also look at the turns too and tell you what I would probably do, though I'm not as experianced as you might think.

Why do YOU not find and marry (not Mary, the comming danish queen (I hope)) a female, who is willing AND capable to run her own nation(s) in a CTP-PBEM game?

Are you afraid Lung and Faded? Think if they could be better than Klair?

My wife refuses to play CtP. I tried to get her to play once and she got angry and impatient with one of her warriors say "me tired" and not moving.

Then she'd forget she sent a unti off to who-knows-where and start yelling at that unit a few turns later for not going where she wanted it to go.

So, Bird, what's this about having to find some subs for a "faded" player?

Boy, if you think three games are a lot I'm glad you're not in my shoes: over 14 (I think.)

Of course, that's CtP and SMAC/SMAX combined, but still...

Most of the time turns don't all arrive the same day and therefore we can keep playing quite a few without ever threatening turn slow-down.

Just trying to get you more active in the community, that's all.
