    Turn sent to Agagnon.

Gav I'm up for meeting online, I don't remember exactly why I couldn't connect but I'll tell you all the details on Saturday. The earlier the better for me

Houston we have a problem..... Rickety is available from 2:00am to 12:00 on Saturday (GMT) which converts to very early for you- Very difficult as our time zones range 17 hours or so.... If rickety reposts a confirmation - and you name a GMT (time check 9:34 gmt now) we can arrange!

By my reckoning it should have been 8:34 am when you posted, so my guess is it's daylight savings over there, and you're on GMT + 1:00. Please confirm (or otherwise of course).

While we're on the subject, Apolyton reports the time (my time) to me as 1 hour ahead of what it is, even though the time zone is reported correctly, ie GMT+10. Is Apolyton making the same mistake? 2 vs 1 (me), but I still reckon I'm right!

2am to 12pm GMT (as I understand it) is still fine for me, but obviously if a time in there is nominated it will make it easier...

Time check: I say it's now 9:03 GMT, 10:03 UK summer time...?

Yes, Apolyton times are BST (=GMT+1) not GMT. This has caused much confusion...

But not as much confusion as Glide Symetry and pieto numbers...

                huh?

And I'm just a pompus American who doesn't pay attention to the rest of the world around him... I have no idea what time it is GMT for me... I think U.S. Central is GMT +6... In that case I'd be available to connect via TCP/IP at around 2pm GMT? (8pm here?)

So that means if I'm available to play at 8pm my time it's 2am GMT?

                    • probably - BUT when I say time check - what you should do is write down the local time there in your post- THEN you know exactly what the time difference is (15:18 here now)

                      • I suppose I should set my preferences so 'poly isn't showing all the post times in my time then, shouldn't I?

                        09:18 here now - Thursday...
