Turn 34 to Vitolg and Keygen.
Why have the Hebrews not answered our request to not trespass? This would have sent your diplomat home all the faster, and ensured us of your good intention....

Dear Fuzzball, are you sure you really sent that request? I didn't received any.
Anyway, I have already withdrawed my diplomat.

Fellow Maya, please accept our knowledge of Bureacracy as a sign of friendship.

              Turn 35th sent to Fuzzball
              ==

              [Aztlan]
The wormhole was crossed by a ship, but it wasn't Qutzalcoatl. An alien race named Ewooks cross the hole and enter into the Orion Star, land of the Aztlan people.

They came in "peace" but after a 200 years of false diplomacy a set of 20 StarDestroyers arrive to Aztlan.

The battle between two races has started. Quetzalcoatl where are you?

Turn 35 to Vitolg and Keygen.
We find the Hebrews stacking samurai just ouside our city radius....Stacking such aggressive units within a turns strike of our cities is not how one should pursue an ongoing friendship. Although we have units at war readiness, we would like to point out that none have been stacked, nor gone even close to Hebrew cities. Relocate your guard, Maya will not be intimidated by such tactics.

                  Turn 35 to DeVil.

Keygen, why not to agree to notify to everybody about new turn sent by e-mail only using CC:? I know that posting at forum is a obligatory rule but I fail understand why. Would you convince me?

                    For several reasons:

                    a) Spamming. Some players are involved in many games. Imagine Blackice who plays in 17 games I think or me receiving dozens of email notifications every day.

                    b) More difficult to track the games. It is easier to open the thread and see what is happening - subject isolated in the specific - than searching within dozen of emails to find out what is happening.

                    c) Lack of Role-playing and diplomacy. It is easier to role play when posting in the thread than through email. It is possible to role play through email but it is far better to do it in the thread(s). It can involve more players, it is easier to read the replies and you have a history of the events where you can go back and forward .

                    d) In case that someone has problems sending an email it is the only way to inform everyone with your problem. Imagine everyone sending email instead of posting. Who would come to the threads to read them and find out a possible problem you might have? Maybe after a week. How about finding people to play with? Too hard and not with so many.

                    e) Making friends. More easy trhough the forums than through emails, don't you think?

The only negative point the posts have is the time they need. It is relatevly high. I can understand that sometimes might be difficult to post, in high traffic hours it may take you 5 to 10 minutes to open a single thread and post something but in the other hours it is much faster. So if you just can't post sometimes its OK but I would ask to keep posting mostly so to know what is going on. If you could post every time you send a turn then even better, I would appreciate it .

                      Keygen, thanks for the response.

I'm not agree with most considerations at all, but all explanations related to moderating hold me from any further objections. Now I understand that you are more comfortable with looking at subscribed threads than dealing with sorting and recognizing e-mails. I wiould like to take this opportunity to thank you for your time.

I would really like to have possibility not to post every turn, especially if no diplomatic interactions are being carried out at the moment. I obligate in case of not posting to send notification to everybody. Actually, I would send notification for every turn, if everybody wouldn't find this too much annoying. Objections?

That's OK to me, coz' I'm not playing 17 games.

                          Thanks Vitolg .

Well, you are free to do what ever you want as far as I am getting your turn too whenever you send it away to the next player. This is the best and most useful email notification for me.
So the notification email is not nessesary unless the rest players are interested on knowing whether you have sent your turn or not.

Personally I find the turn posting very useful as there are many cases where I haven't received a turn or the previous player hadn't accually sent the turn and if he hadn't posted I would had learned it after one or two days and not the same day. It has happened many times and will keep happening...

But keep posting periodically, especially if you want to role play.
                          Don't just ...disappear
