Is Yeti AWOL again. Didn't we "next" him last turn?

        Turn to The Bird Man

The Japanese diplomat was seen staggering out of Sippar on his way to Zulu lands.

          Turn 92 to Yeti.

The mood of Zulu reporters and diplomats got a lift by the short message from our assyrian neighbor. The japaneese diplomat could arrive every moment now.

At last - something to write about and decisions to be taken.

            Noble Assyrians,

Please allow our diplomat to setup a permanent presence in your capitol by establishing an embassy.

Once he is done with that, he will use your fine road network to pay a visit to the Zulu King.

While Ninevah is a fine city, I consider it the finest in the world, it is not our capitol. Management of the empire requires a more centraly located administration center. Embassies are always welcome.

Our Apologies Ayotollah Swissy, however, we were not aware of the move of the central government. Nineveh was known to us as the birth place of the Assyrian nation and the first capital of Assyria.

Nevertheless, we shall establish our embassy in Nineveh. A fine city, that has only grown more beautiful since we last saw it.

To the leaders of the world. German cartographers have been working feverishly to decide on a fair border between the Assyrian and German nation. Up until now, German military controlled much of the Steppes and had maintianed its presence in those unpopulated lands for several centuries. However, now we had ordered that all military battalions be withdrawn, and we no longer claim the southern steppes as a part of the German Empire. We are voluntarily relinquishing control of the land south of the Land-locked Seas as our personal gift to the Assyrian King, and to show our good will to his nation.

The New German-Assyrian border will span the entire length from the Mediterranean to the land of the Japanese along the seas. German units will now commence fortifying in their permanent positions in order to clearly demark the land. For now, we see no need to maintain a 'no mans land' in the regions other than those near Nineveh, so they have not been setup.
