The Supereme Assembly of the Assyrian State today denounced the rampant technology sharing amongst the other world powers. Chairman Swissy spoke, "Everytime one of the world powers discovers a technology it seems to rapidly spread around the world until in a mere handful of years all know. Rest asured that none of the great discoveries of the Assyrians will be handed over for mere gold or promises of friendship." The ovation of the Assembly was unanamious.

Angry words are spoken - and we do understand, that these words are meant for the Zulus and the way, we treat knowledge.

Let it be known to the world. Science is vital for all nations. With access to science, to new knowledge and skills, nations grows and people are happy.

On the other hand, if one nation either is long ahead or long after most other nations, this often leads to war, hunger and destruction.

Also let it be known, that the first zulu settler landed on the shore of a new large island and that we intend to settle parts of that large island.

Today in a speech at the Japanese science convention, acting emperor-Saddamoto praised high priest Bird for distributing such technology. Saying "it is a good thing". He also condemned several nation's for attacking the Zulu leader, but did not mention the specific nation's.

Sadamoto also took step's to withdraw ANY offending troop's on the Assyrian-Japanese border. There was several 'disputed' areas of the border in which Japanese troop's had actually pushed into Assyrian land and dug in. Saddamoto, stressed that these Disputed area's were not worth war. So all troop's on the border moved back into undisputed japanese land.

He also stressed, that several island's in the south pacific, are solely claimed bye japan. He declared "Any nation who settles these islands shall do so at there own risk and the actions japan may take, lie open to view".However 1 island, that may be already colonized bye Zulu, is allowed to remain zulu.

Saddamoto, staunchly denied report's that Emperor yeti was dead and that he was pulling a "Weekend at bernies" on the world. Only saying that Emperor Yeti was resting comfortably and recooperating from Malaria.

Now that our border with the Assyrians is secure, we have diverted our resources to other matters. For, even though an Iron curtain has descended over the land of Central Asia, we believe Chairman Swissy will be a just and honest leader for the Assyrian people.

Saddamoto is once again reiterating his position. The islands in the south-east pacific will be settled bye Japan only. He also confirmed that his colonists have absolutely no intention of settling Hawaii or Alaska, as long as America stayed out of the south east Pacific.

We are a peaceful people, thats why we withdrawed from disputed land on the Assyrian border. We just wanted to remind President Keygen about our land claims. Contrary to what other world leaders are saying...There is absolutely no hostility towards america whatsoever.

The recent disputes our beloved HighPriest Shaka had with leaders of other nations has been brought back to the level, where it belongs. Back to the diplomats.

Our glorious longships - those ships that have brought us much news from other countries have done more that we could expect. Our ships are weakned by age and hard wheater. Therefore our most brave leader HighPriest Aegnor has called them back home. If the ships should be repaired/modernised or split apart and used for other purposes, that will be decided when they are back in the shipyards.

And now to todays topstory:

Our first city has been established on the great island, that we described for our readers nearly 2 month ago. Our wise leaders have decided, this island should be called Australia.

Saddamoto has expressed his concern over the Iron curtain that has enveloped all of Assyria. More disturbing is the fact that a Red book written bye the one the Assyrian people call 'Comrade Swissy' has made its way to Japanese citys. The workers in particular are excited about this. This is bad news for high priest Yokomoho, whos Pagan order has ruled the empire for ages. However, the red book not seen as an immediate threat....But Saddamoto has promised to keep an eye on the situation.


We would also like to ask Birdman not to expand any further. As noted several posts above, we would allow him to keep the land he calls 'australia'. But we ask that he not settle the smaller islands near it to the north. We also ask, that High priest Shaka not object to our settling a small part of 'australia' since our nations have been so close of friends and should move toward Military and Political Union.

Btw Turn 97 to Stavros. If he does not play it in 24 hours I shall next him. I think his troubles are done with for now.
