    Turn 217--> Lung

    Looking for a spare light bulb...where does he keep them? Maybe in this drawer...hmmm...a key...............to Mobius' private wine cellar! Well, he couldn't possibly begrudge me just a little in his absence, could he...?

        Turn 219 ==> Sophix

        The latest press releases from The WISE indicate that citizens of Naucratis are too stupid to rise up against their Communist dictator, even when offered provisions and munitions.

        The report also went into great depth about the environmental damage being caused by the Communist production machine. It seems that alexandria has now contaminated a quarter of it's landspace.

        The situation in the Communist nation of Rome is still somewhat vague, althought it is known that at least two cities are rioting, one of which being Rome herself...

          Commissar Rick,

          After my brief sojourn in Spain, and stocking up on plentiful Riojas etc - I'm sure the odd vintage bottle or two is fine...

          Indeed for your stirling service, perhaps the odd vineyard in the hills above Rome would be a mere token reward - careful aparently the natives are restless according to Demos...

          Comrade MOBIUS has returned!

            Commissar Rick stared at the glass that had been placed before him by his Head Vintner. He took a sip and allowed the flavours to dance across his tongue. Was it a Samba, or the Meringue? The wine revealed itself slowly, as would a true champion: dry and expressive, confidant, without being overly-assertive. Warm with earthy tones, and an under-current of woodsy-herbaceous. And was that a touch of velvety chocolate-hazelnut in the subtle aftertaste?

            He glued the portrait of Trotsky to the bottle with reverence, and decreed it a worthy addition to the People's Glorious Vineyard line of wines.

            And an addition worthy of the name Mobius, for whom Commissar Rick felt great gratitude. For it was through the generosity of the great Mobius that he was in a position to produce such wines to further glorify the name of Rome!

                    Ok, I'm posting this question in all of the games I'm in. It appears that a large number of PBEM games are going 'rated'.

                    I therefore put the question to you, would you want this game to be rated aswell.

                    Do not feel obliged to say yes, but please do reply.

                      Hey, i'm coming fourth. Hell, count me in!

                      On the war front - another Egyptian city discovers the joys of Fascism, as Oryx joins the Australian Fascist state Egyptian resistance has once again proved to be inadequate in the face of the Fascist blitz, with Fascist heroes mounting with every battle against the Communist scum. However, scouts can now see the long-rumoured environmental devastation in the approaches to the once mighty Egyptian captial of Alexandria. Steve Waugh the Legendary now wonders whether the much anticipated capture of Alexandria is worth the effort.

                        Turn 220 ==> Sophix

                        As Egyptian troops march foolishly upon the liberated cities of Thebes and Tanis, intent upon reclaiming and subjecting the citizens therein to untold torture and depravity, more Welsh Fascist have liberated the city of Sinai.

                        Despite strong resistance, the city fell with limited casualties, due to the battlehardened nature of the veterans within this strikeforce.

                        On the northern front, Roman troops have resorted to hit and run tactics to disrupt Welsh trade routes. However, these foolish cavalrymen forgot the 'run' part and have summarily been purified, with all trade routes being re-established henceforth.

                          Turn 220 to Mobius (last night)

                          With the fall of Sinai and Oryx, the old government was swept from power. Commandante Omar Deletia took complete power as his troops stormed the communist capital buildings. Several of the old ministers were immediately executed; but the Pharoah, whose death has been called for by all of Egypt, was not to be found.

                          The Commandante restored the confidence of Egypt by retaking Sinai which was poorly defended by Artillery and Cannon taking only limited losses. Plans have been mounted to restore the northern Nile to the governance of Egypt, as well as reclaim the land now ruled by the Ozland fascists. It is unclear if Commandante Deletia can turn the fortunes of Egypt around, but morale is high though out Egypt as troops march to the front.

                            Don has sent me turn 220, not turn 221. I've mailed him to let him know.

                            Mobius did you send turn 220 or 221 to Don?

                                After a short delay the world rolls on. Sinai falls back into Egyptian hands, the corruption of Communism too great for the citizens to overcome.

                                Memo to self: When Wales retakes the city we must 'purify' it's people.
