I have created a small scenario, designed specifically for multi-player.
This scenario creates the 'king' unit (no, not Elvis ).
This unit is nothing more than a diplomat, with enhanced vision and movement range,
and without the spying capability (investigate city).
But ... !
Each (human controlled) tribe starts with one king.
When you loose your king, you loose the game.
This means that, if your king gets killed, you entire empire is destroyed.
This also explains the name of the scenario.
So, what are you going to do ?
Are you going to hide your king away, and let his talents go to waste ?
Are you going to send him out, to make contact with other nations, and risk his life ?
It is up to you.
The scenario also creates two extra settlers, for a accelerated start of the game.
So, at chieftain and warlord, you start with four settlers.
At other difficulty settings, you start with three settlers.
I think this single unit should have a profound impact on gameplay.
It should also help involvement and role-playing in the game.
(If you want to know more about this, just ask Hamilcar.)
Anyone interested, just send me a mail, and I will send you the scenario.
And of course, all suggestions and remarks are welcome.
