Was that supposed to be a "turn sent" message? I didn't get a turn, so I guess Lung should send the last turn to kris.maes@planetinternet.be, so that he can play it and send it to me.

                Turn to Lung cc Mobius.

As we can't beat the australians in modern science, we have to rely on production. 4 new factories will be finished next season as well as we will be able to use a new telescope.

I'm afraid, we will not have much use of our last discovery - time will show us.

                Senator Maximus.

To our Indian friends, your SOL is not welcome outside our city - if you want a cup of Darjeeling you need only ask, without needing to send a warship...

To our Roman friends, you overestimate the power of Edison's Lab, Australia cannot understand the barely veiled hostile vibes coming from our Roman friends...

Peace is a many splendoured thing, what!

To an old timer like me, you seem to be trying to annoy my young master. Of course he is above such things and does not allow himself to be provoked by such clumsy words from our Roman friend...

Now, make yourself useful and pass the scones. There's a good fellow!

                  Brigadier-General MOBIUS (retd)

Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

Don Bradman II returns from a short sojourn at his mountain retreat to find that India, obviously feeling cocky at having for once beaten Australia at cricket, have apparently landed a warship outside an Australian city Safe in the knowledge that Brigadier-General Mobius is more than capable of dealing with threats in the absence of Don Bradman II, it is sincerely hoped that this warship is merely sailing towards a foreign destination.

Peace has been hard-won with India, and do not wish to see it threatened by a minor incident, so St. Jon of India shall be given the benefit of the doubt, pending a report on the incident by Brigadier-General Mobius.

The latest report coming through tells of the mighty Aussies bringing the Indians down to earth in the third test and back in their rightful place in world cricket - on their arses

Stavros has been nexted. Paul has been asked to wait for 10 hours maximum to allow either Kris or Stavros to play. I assume that Kris didn't get it from Mobius as he e-mailed me without mentioning it.

The turn from Kris had already arrived in my mailbox, so I played that turn. Turn 138 to Jon.

                          Turn to Rome.

Had Australia chosen to accept my repeated requests for a Map Exchange I would have been aware of the site of the City concerned. As things now stand India must rely upon her own Geographic surveys.

What request? Don Bradman II has not received any requests for an exchange of cartographic infomrmation. Of course, such a request may very well be refused, but nonetheless you hadn't asked St. Jon of India is requested by Don Bradman II himself not to consider building settlements on Australian soil, particularly the area surrounded by Merimbula from Jindabyne in the south all the way to the grand capital of Woy Woy.

Paul, thanks for playing the original turn from Mobius via Kris. Undoubtedly Mobius played my turn better than i did anyway

                              Turn to Lung cc Mobius.

A new australian village was found surprisingly close to roman land - but still so far away, that we do not claim the village to be disbanded.

The fortified roman troops are the border, which no australian settler should pass.

What the hell do you think this is, Tweety? East Berlin?? If Maximus the Stroppy wishes to make a border near, er, Waloobabananablahdeblah (or whatever the hell i called it ), then he can have borders on the side of his choice, but definitely not every bloody side of the compass. Tell your Muskie to the north to pull his head in and head south for his own good, and Don Bradman II shall show mercy to his soul

Turn 139 to Stavros and Kris. I will update the ratings thread in a while.
