                    Turn to Lung.

                    Statement from Rome:

I senator Maximus are deeply concerned about the australian efforts to build a new strong center of science.

Should the australian be able to finish that project - and unfortunately I believe they will - it leaves the roman empire with only 2 possibilities.

                    War or coorporation.

As a start, I have choosen the last. Therefore all roman break-through will be given for free to the dutch and indian governments. I have not asked for any repay - but I am sure they know how to treat such an offer.

This way I hope the world would be able to stay even with the australian in knowledge - without going to war against them. I know my troops would win such a war, we would be able to trace the center of their science and destroy the center and/or the city - but our looses would be high. Maybe in such a number, that "one" other nation - not involved - would make too much benefit of such a war.

                    Senator Maximus of Rome.

Don Bradman II has noted the thinly-veiled threat by Maximus of the Romans However, Maximus' preference for peace is a wise choice, for the Australians are a paranoid race, with a tendency to overreact

Don Bradman II is intrigued by the Romans' offence at Australia's building of a great centre of science, as it is being built specifically to combat the aggressive science of Rome! One can only wonder at what the mighty Maximus might want from his friends in return for his generous offers of science Undoubtedly, his friends are involved in heavy military build-up at the expense of science, which is being covered by Rome. Don Bradman II wonders what it must be like to be a pawn for the Roman empire?

Australia shall pursue the path of peace for the forseeable future. Other nations would be wise to follow suit. Indeed, Australia is a threat to Rome, firstly, for not showing subservience to her, and secondly, for being Rome's only real threat to her science. It seems that Maximus' apparent benevolence is indeed a facade in which behind lurks a devious and manipulative mind

Fear not, Maximus of the Romans, for our peace can last forever, as it is currently only threatened by certain antagonistic remarks from a certain Roman in a position of great power

Oh my dear australian leader Don't forget, that actual we are three in this pace - the germans has shown no weakness yet I have been close to forget them, as we nearly never sees or hear anything from their side - except from the regular visits of his hired babarians.

I am quite sure, that Mr. Stavros and his babarian friends are smiling at us right now
