  • Love Conquers? Part IV.

    Some Threads get a bit dodgy around the 150 mark so now is the time for a change.

    Happy Hunting, Boys and Girls!

    Jon, You Pious Friend.

    "And I declared that the dead who had already died, are happier than the living, who are still alive. But better than both is he who has not yet been, who has not seen the evil that is done under the sun."

        Turn 66 --> Quinns

        Having removed yet another Barbarian, our people can now work in the fields without fear of sudden attack. There do seem to be a plethora of these hostile warriors roaming through Greece. We wonder if others have made sightings in their own lands?

                Turn 67 to 'The Blasphemer'.

                Welcome unto the fold oh vile and loathsome creature. Though the World itself might weep for thy very creation I do forgive thee for my love is infinite and extends even unto the basest of creation.

                A Turn of peaceful worship for my flock with scarce a heretic to burn. A ceremonial 'drawing and quartering' of a Barbarian was held in Orleans but elsewise all was as placid as a lamb, as indeed am I.

                Rejoice in the warmth of my love my children!

                St Jon, Humility amidst Pride.

                  Now I see (with ref. to Keygen's topic )

                  Lung and St Jon are simply in "a kind of" love. St Jon WISHES, that D. Lung had been a female and Lung that St Jon had never been born

                  They simply loves each others

                  Anyway they act as they had been married for more than 30 years: I don't like what you like and you are not supposed to like what I like!!!!!!!!

                  Edit: Forgive me my Lord - but I couldn't help it. I am just a humble human....

                    Get thee forth from amongst us, 'Man of the Air'!!!

                    I love the 'Unspeakable One' as if she were my own sister but the very idea of marriage?

                    The consequence of marriage is oft as not fornication and as such is Sin. Chastity is amongst my many virtues and it is heresy to think that I should go against that which my old friend Leviticus said:

                    'And no man should'st lie with his Mother, nor his Sister, nor his Daughter, nor the Oxe, nor the Ass or any other beast of the field'

                      No they should not - "but it stays in the family" so it was told in the old days......

                            General Lung sits back on his shiny new chair in his custom-made office, puts his feet up, quietly sips a stiff drink, and admires the view through the window of the construction of the London Exchange, a wonderous building which will propel the Spanish nation to prosperity the likes of which have never been seen. "Mobius will be pleased to see what greatness i have bestowed on his people" muses General Lung to himself.

                            "Ah, the pay's great, but what the hell is this stuff?", ponders General Lung, whilst enjoying the effect of the alcohol. "A wise decision to accept this contract, although i hope the Mighty Demosthenes bears no grudges for this!", he thinks. "Still, i won't be initiating any conflict towards the Welsh, so he can't complain. Hmmm, i better get some good bonuses if i have to fight a war, or anything. The Great Mobius could have left me a few chicks to keep me company, though. There's nothing like a wench 'doing the honours' to me to get those strategic creative juices flowing!", ponders General Lung in his usual profound self.

                            Oh, and pull your head in, St. Jon!! I sent it already! Turn 67 to Demosthenes the jilted 10 hours ago

                              Turn 67 ==> Stavros

                              It is good to see that Lung the Legendary has made a return to our world, even if it is for another nation. Still, the present prohibition in Wales would not fare well with you, as neither does it with myself.

                              Options are being looked at to see how the consumption of alcohol can be regulated rather than prohibited, as rumours of our mighty leaders affinity for ale persist.
                              Cariad,
                              Demosthenes.
