      Quinns, as we have full participation in Ranking you can count LC in as a Rated Game.

        Jon, I didn't see the endorsements by The True Demosthenes or Rick Elkins, but I'll take you word on it. I've added all of them to the ratings as deity players (21.000) as, I believe from your comments, they are all "very" good players, and can whoop deity A/I easily. (See CTP Ratings (21-Nov-00) for more info on this).

        Alright, as of turn 50, "Love Conquers?" becomes a "rated" game. That means that at the end of turn 59, the last player (me) will take a screen shot of the power graph and the ratings for all players will change based upon the results of the screen shot. Solver will then approve the rating changes (as he is Ladder Administrator). Anybody may request to see a copy of the screen shot. See "PBEM Ladders?" regarding how ratings calculations work. This cycle will continue again on turn 60, 70, 80, etc. and the ratings will change at the end of each 10 turn phase.

              Turn 50 to Madrid.

              His Purity has agreed to the provisional Spanish border proposals. The Pursuit of Love, Peace and Understanding have always been the driving forces behind the 'Sinless One' and so they remain.

                Turn 49 ==> Stavros

                Perhaps now is a good time for the great leaders of the world to firmly and undeniably establish national boundaries.

                Three reasons come to mind why now seems the appropriate time:
                [*] To put an end to the quarrel between Spain and France.
                [*] To avert any reasons for war and conflict.
                [*] To celebrate the coming turns jubilee.
                Cariad,
                Demosthenes.

                  Turn 50 ==> Stavros

                  Demosthenes is pleased to hear that the border dispute between France and Spain has been resolved. We in Wales are glad to hear that 'Peace and Understanding' have prevailed.
                  Cariad,
                  Demosthenes.

                      Turn 50 to Quinns

                      That the inevitable collision of cultures has now taken a more civilized route is celebrated in Greece on this 50th marker of our existance in this world.

                        Turn 51 to Jon --

                        Nothing but good news to report from the land of Inca. Diplomats on their way to France and Wales. (We didn't get a rejection from Wales, so... he's on his way!)

                        Incans echo Welsh and Greek sentiment concerning peace.

                          Turn 51 to Madrid.

                          My devout Missionaries go about their toils and one now stands at the very Gates of a Welsh village. I have heard disturbing rumours of Armed Welsh Tribesmen upon the Sacred Soil of France. Please, Beloved Demosthenes, sendeth not your Men at Arms upon reconaissance missions into the Blessed Land. Your Diplomat will be welcomed with open arms but understand that in France the mere mention of the words sword, spear or gun are blasphemy against my name.

                          Love unto All,
                          St Jon, Truth amidst a World of Falsehoods.

                            It is indeed worthy of note that all the border disputes of late appear to have been settled amicably and respectfully...!

                            Spain congratulates the people of this peaceful planet for their sentiment...

                              Turn 51 ==> Stavros

                              Noble St Jon,

                              After our cartographic exchange I see that Welsh knights were indeed heading into your territory, and so they have been withdrawn.

                              To show our goodwill we have agreed a framework document for peaceful relations. It is expected that further negiotiations will take place in Nice, but it seems that a number of Welsh lumberjacks are insisting upon a clause using forests as sinks. However, do not pay too much attention to this as it is rumoured that they had a flagon of ale or two before their protestations.
