From my experience there are many times that a player do not send the turn for a long time just because he didn't received it, ever. And when I ask why they didn't check the posts they come up with a lot of excuses, sorry man I didn't, why didn't you sent me an email, etc. If they had received an email on the first place they would had replyed with a negative one and the turn rate wouldn't dropped to zero. I think it's better to both post and email the turn sent. It's up to you whether you want an email notification or not but I recommend it.
