The Color Poll

We now have to decide what color our team will be wearing.
Unfortunately as we were first to draw a faction we are last to draw color, so for a major bonus we have a minor (negative?) consequence..

The following are the colors associated with Yang, China and SMACX.

Please pick and post what you picked.
If you don't see your preffered AC team/Qin color, please choose 'other' and explain in the post which one you'd want and why.

whatever colour is still distinctive as 7th spot (ie: if somebody already has light blue, don't take dark blue etc...). A lot of the civ4 colours are too similar to each other.

The Yin-Yan combo doesn't do for we can only pick one color for it, unfortunately.

A bit torn between golden and pink as secondary choice, but chances are we need to pick another color or dar blue is the common french one, and one of the other teams is french.

Do we want to use the civgroup icon as our in-game flag?

I have attached the "big" version here, but I think it might be too black if we get a blue colour in-game.

Good point.

With all the dark colors a light background is what is needed for contrast. Like yellow.

That way the suns are emphasized but are seperated by the black so a yellow background will not blend or destroy the suns.

To even help further the yellow could be a light yellow.

I think it won't be too black or too anything, I presume everyone will be using their icons as flags.

The image is really blurry ... is that intentional, or is there a less blurry image?

I'll use 512 and 128 dds textures in my next mod example, but it's going to look blurry, especially at 512x512
