I did mention something about payment, requested a cease fire and advised them about the ending of Sarantium's contract. See above. Of course you have been the official voice on all matters diplomatic, so perhaps you should write them an official statement of your own.

EDIT: Oh and as for the screenshot, I accidentally sent it to the group of addresses I usually send the save to, which includes both snoopy and Aeson. I then followed it up with another email requesting that the screenshot be deleted and that it was not for Vox's eyes.

I just wanted to make one point.

In order for payment to be forwarded to Team Mercenary, as promised by our previous arrangements, peace would need be declared.

That peace would neccessitate that Team Mercenary would be unable to engage in any 'assistance to the cats' for at least the 10 turn in game cooling period.

We have it on the books that you are owing us HBR from the unit rental and Sailing when you finish it, for the original peace deal.

Technically, HBR was due on unit delivery, but payment was deferred till now due to game mechanic complications. We trust the services rendered by our units have been satisfactory to now, and that payment will be forwarded in due course.

You rented units for 10 turns. The final turn in the current contract is 325 BC.

Not precisely accurate on your part.

They rented with the option of keeping the living ones on contract until the cost caught up to the payment.

I can't look it up right now, but essentially, we provided somewhere in the neighborhood of 120 ish gold worth of rental, HBR is 350ish gold worth of price. For giving them this option, we receive the settler at the end of contract. It was also incentive for them to not recklessly throw our units into hopeless causes, and try to keep them around. So, they can extend up to 20 turns.

Exact numbers may be off, going off sheer memory above. But I know they can extend at least once.

My bad. It took me an hour to play the turn this morning as it is. I forgot about the option to extend. Could we please have all info pertaining to contracts put into the contract history thread. Start dates and optional end dates etc would be lovely.

I understand. Was a bit grumpy earlier. Playing the turn has become rather like a secretarial job with all the posting, editing of screenshots, uploading, emailing etc. I can't imagine what it will be like when we make contact with the other teams. We do need to streamline our "workflow" somewhat more. Anyway...
