The mods snoopy and Aeson have joined the civgroup, as has OctavianX. I looked back to our thread and it looks like OctX and cronos_qc. I've PMed cronos telling him he should join the civgroup if he's still interested.

I haven't heard of cronos, but I don't see a problem with authorizing any of the four.

edit: I found the control panel, but don't seem to have authority.

The control panel is at the bottom of the forum page, labelled 'admin options'. See if you can access it at all. I just get a 'you don't have permission' error. Though I can see the thing, which is odd if I didn't have permission...

I'm talking about the main forum list btw. It appears I have individual thread powers, but not the overall forum powers.

Same here on the forum powerZ. But how are people authorized? I don't seem to have any control over the CivGroup, do you?

Unless E_N changes his mind from what he's previously posted in the Sarantium thread, he will likely be applying here next should he be rejected from Sarantium.

While I would like to think I am an inclusive person, I have my reservations about letting him in to the team. He seems to have a basic lack of respect for others that makes me frankly doubtful if he would work out.

He has PMd me about joining.

I suppose we should vote on this one.

I have three concerns on him. None are about his abrasive conduct.

First: He has expressed a desire to win by any means. This is so whole heartedly against our philosophy I find it hard to believe he'ld accept our stance.

Second: I would very much like to set us up to our traditional 'first one who can play the save, does' philosophy reguarding turnplaying. Gives everyone a chance if they want to play. An anything to win attitude is not the person I want playing saves.

Third: He mentions in his PM he sees himself as needed to 'balance out' the 'disney' teams. I don't need someone with grudges on the team.

That said, I would be for allowing him so long as he understands our position and accepts that Kloreep or myself could remove his authorization if we deem him getting out of line.

I am pretty new here and don't believe I've had enough chance to observe his behaviour so I will reserve judgement and defer to the rest of the team.
