I went to the basic training section of the site and then clicked on the link to Book 1, which corresponds to March 9th 2003. Is that the 1st or the 1001st?

From there I read all the way to August 29th 2003. As you will remember I work on call and tend to have plenty of free time at home with no girlfriend to um... well... you get the picture!

EDIT: Just made it to the Sept 25th 2003 strip and Tagon says, "Petey's not with us anymore." I guess I missed something. Never seen this Petey guy...

Yeah, you started with the 1001st strip then. You missed some incredibly bad artwork, but also some good humor and plotlines - and their old ship, the Tausennigan Superfortress whose AI was known as Petey.

What/where is the tropical exile of Mingapulco? I assume it's where your account goes if you're too unpleasant judging by the comments in the thread.

Once you're in the Hall of Fame how do you rehabilitate yourself? I mean, can you come back and all is forgiven? And what does it take to get you in (aside from E_N's comments)? What does it take to get you out? How are you notified? etc etc

Speaking from experience, as a member of the HoF, yes. Aye, I've seen the shores of Mingapulco, and return with tails of their beauty.

Any violation of site rules. In my case I adamantly protest I did not break any rules, banned for posting a 'non-civ-related' picture in my upload. Since I wrote comedy 'news' articles for a couple of demogames, I did use said picture in one, I've used MANY such pictures. Why one was targetted and not others is still beyond me. IIRC it was a lego boat, with an article about GoW reverse engineering Team Lego technology. But my banning would be over before they could decide weather my argument was valid or not.

You are banned for a length of time. Repeat offenses lengthen that time. You can also get back in by appealing to site admin. I got the impression that EN must appeal to site admin or be banned permanent by the statement on his banning.

In my case I was not notified, and had to ask. If you post offensive material, it is posted in the thread.

If you can log in from a different IP address (for instance, switching internet providers; there may be easier ways as well, but I'm not too knowledgeable about this) then there isn't anything they can do.

Of course, if you got banned once, it wouldn't be surprising for you to get yourself banned again...

Ha, I have read from the beginning to 20031011. It's quite funny - some really good one-liners, and many of the office guys like it...

Polarnomad, have you found out why Petey is not with them anymore? Very funny that. And, is it just me, or is Breya hot!
