Ok, GS is asking for it.
They have 420g now, enough to run non-stop for some 15 turns (should be enough for them to get Liberalism)
I suggest:
0.Send message and ask when exactly Feudalism is gonna be transferred
1.Starting on Feudalism now
2.Hooking up elephants asap
3.using GM for Guilds
4.Banking->Gunpowder->Engineering
5.Getting rid of GS.

Well seems we are afoot for war again. Some ideas i want to share about it:
Civics: We have access to police state and theocracy. It will cost us 3 turns and will be visible for GS
Tech: We were working on drama-music-dr(with the ga).
It seems we have to tech to feudalism ourself.
bt proposes Feud-Guilds(with the gm)-Banking-Engineering
engineering gives +1 on roads.
Production:
we only have a barracks in Tassagrad and Xi'an. We should at least build a new one in Mhasa.
Our best unit right now is maceman, it will take a while to get there tho. At the moment we don't have horses or elephants inside our cultural boundaries. If we want knights or elephants we need at least one more city.
all in all, we cannot suprise attack them like we did with banana's. Eventually we will win. but at what cost?
The big question is: do we go for an all out war now? Or do we just break all diplomation with them and enter a cold war?
I agreed with the banana war because we could gain a lot in a small time with a small investment.
Now? the preparation alone will take 50 turns, 50 turns that we will spend in units, techs all focussed on war.
50 turns that GS will use to defend. Sure they cannot win, but we will neither.
I don't think a war is in our best interest right now

For a limited time we can build at speed 1 chuck per turn and some 10 extra chucks would be sure death to GS since their forces consist of spears, skirms and axes now.
Anyways, I think we should:
1.start stockpiling
2.switch to Feudalism (we don't need Drama/Music/DR that much)
3.when we're clear that they are not gonna transfer us anything, research Banking in 6 turns (2 for Feudalism, 1 for Guilds, using GM, 3 for Banking) and thus get ahead economically.
4.at this point we will be sure what we need to do next - kick GS ass, or just race to victory leaving them in the dust.-- What history has taught us is that people do not learn from history.

A good war plan for case of conflict starting any turn would be useful.
Taking a look at our power graph, GS probably decided that it's time to slow us down.

I know I've been hating on GS for a while now but their attitude and play just stank. If the only thing we can do is kill them and secure the oceans to hold on until we win then so be it, it'd be easier with them as allies but they're not stupid and we're winning. They won't help us until they're on top.

Back in the strategic thread RE banking when i was anti-banking, this is exactly what i meant. An extra 20% on research will not help vs GS now, what would we get with it? There is no military techs within range.

I think banks first then war is something we would regret doing. It would take time, wouldnt really help production our military efforts, and space victory seems a bad idea to me, as said before.

Back in the strategic thread RE banking when i was anti-banking, this is exactly what i meant. An extra 20% on research will not help vs GS now, what would we get with it? There is no military techs within range.
1.Guilds leads to Gunpowder and allows knights
2.With 250b/turn at 100% science, 20% average allocation boost would mean extra 50b/turn, and that's without the specialist bonus, which is gonna give a minimum of another 30b/turn.
3.Using engineers in most coastal cities will also boost production.
4.There's no other route which
- brings us closer to better military
- improves our economy so much
It would take time
f we want to go to war, we should hurry. The longer we take, the greater the chances that the other continent will give some help to GS (rather, it'll be a question of how much help they'll give, rather than if).

I again advocate to whip the courthouse in Hong Kong. We need to use to mass of population there...
In 350AD, it cost 4 people, now it's down to 3 people. Our foodbar is 34/38 full, so we will regrow almost immediately from 6 to 8 (this turn + 2 turns later).no sig
