I still check in occasionally to see what's going on. It's looking like it's becoming more exciting every week.
Civ IV is digital crack. If you are a college student in the middle of the semester, don't touch it with a 10-foot pole. I'm serious.

We were talking about researching Monotheism, don't you remember?

      It definitely does.
Be sure to be around when Alphabet is researched and GE born

Ok, the Banana deal won't go through completely (see banana embassy for details). Basicly they already have writing and propose a new trade:

We drop writing, they drop sailing. This gives us:

          AC:
          Iron Working: 286
          Total: 286

          Bananas:
          Fishing: 57
          Meditation: 114
          Priesthood: 85
          Total: 256

Then we can already start to research sailing while we wait for polytheism and masonry. Completing sailing would take us +/-5 turns.

I guess there are no real objections against this (smaller) trade ?

I like to use IMs to communicate, I have several accounts

                      AIM - kenferland
                      ICQ - 36404290
                      Yahoo - impalerwrg

I'd recommend team members get atleast one to help speed up communications in the near future when all these events start transpiring

Our workers are out of orders in two turns.
I propose to move one towards plains hill near Tassagrad, so it makes mine in cooperation to the one being built in Tassagrad and use the other to chop one forest aiding the Colossus.

We have Colossus 170/250 finished, a chop would give us additional 55 hammers without Maths and 65(or 82, not sure if multipliers here added or multiplied) with, which would be 225/250 and 235/250 (252/250) finished.
Add to that overflows from Oracle and Pyramids (Pyramids will give full one turn production overflow as they're 100% completed by GE) and we're finished with Colossus right the turn after we again switch to it, which makes 3 wonders in 3 turns.

Finishing the road towards Bananas would be wise as they would be happy to agree to open borders and we could likely get a nice chunk of commerce in the Capitol, our agreed upon road segment is to end with the tile on the east bank of the river. Of course we might want to be charitable and build some of the stuff designated as their part. We might even want to have a road through the desert patch towards their southern city to help reach it faster.

Well, yes it'd be nice, but I'd rather first have our workers help in domestic matters and only after 5 turns, when we know what's about Machinery, start building that road east.
