I've posted what info I can so we're not the only team that hasn't responded. I went with Emperor for our choice of diff, but apparently Snoopy was going to make Prince the compromise (3 votes Noble, 1 prince, 2 emperor, including us).

I'm concerned that complaining will only annoy people and then the result of the poll will be the same: Prince.

Yeah, but still, simple averaging ends up pretty much at Prince at this point, no matter whether there are some changes to votes at higher levels.

Have to concur that fighting it is likely to result in the same end outcome. The three Nobles will go low and the Prince preference makes four certain anti-Monarch votes.

prince: no use in complaining, the end result will be the same. Frankly, this was to be expected, although I think people are stupid in going too easy: by the time the level starts to matter, all turnplayers will be at emperor in SP. So, they'll have to play 'below their level' for this game...
Doesn't matter, we'll adapt.
