          That Emporer vote changes everything on that setting for us doesn't it?

          How could we possibly state a lower preference for that setting than someone else? We just can't. We have to choose Emporer now. I change my vote on that one.

              I must've missed the thread where rules like: If one of the "or easier/harder" selections were to win, then there would be a poll for those selections (monarch->harder, etc.). If no one selection achieves a majority, then either Noble or Prince will be default, depending if (warlord+noble) outpolls (prince+monarch) were decided.

                  3. Barbarians: None, Normal, Raging
                  4. Difficulty Level: <=Warlord, Noble, Prince, >= Monarch (Emperor, if that's possible. Y'all seem confident enough, so why not?)
                  5. Alliances: On, No Permanent Alliances, Always War
                  6. Tech Trading: Yes, No
                  7. City Razing: On, Off
                  8. City Flipping: Normal, Only After Conquest, Off

                  9. Choosing Civs: Random, Random With Veto, Preferences

                  10. Map Type: Terra, Pangea, Continents, Archipelago, Lakes (either one)
                  11. Map Design: Handmade, Customized, Previewed

                      I'm ok with my original vote (Monarch) and Emperor. Looks like Emp's gonna win easily now, so let's wrap this up and post our preferences on the main forum.

                        We could post that we are 'OK' with emperor to avoid elitism (and still hope we'll get it).
