Warlords, obviously, is not the problem.
Actually I didn't know what caused my problems back then. I just re-installed and it worked fine.. and i was happy. You might want to rename and move your assets and mod folders, uninstall everything (not the saves obviously), re-install the game, patch it, install the C4DG mod and test it...

if it works.. good. Then you can bring your other mods and assets back and test if it still works. If not... then you know what was causing it.

Just in case it has something to do with the save I sent you, I sent you a new one.

1. Make sure you don't have anything in your custom assets directory (\Documents and Settings\%user%\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilizaton 4\Custom Assets\ ) This would be something like the BetterAI mod for example.
2. Make sure you've redownloaded the zip and reinstalled it. (For that matter, make sure you have the most up to date version, there were at least two or three posted at different times.)
3. Make sure none of your 'core' game files were changed in any way. I suggest a reinstall of Civ4 vanilla if it comes to that ... it's possible something was changed four months ago and you don't remember.

Those are the three ways to fix this kind of problem...

You are putting the mod in the \program files\ mod folder, not the my documents\ mod folder, right?

I hadn't previously modded it.. however, I did heave it in my documents\

moved it to \program files\
