Ironically, the save included in the mod folder loads fine, so I have the mod all installed correctly.

Kloreep can load it as is, apparantly, but I believe continuing would mean I could never be a turnplayer, which would prove quite problematic in the future.

God, if we have to go through this for atleast one player on each team, it might indeed be another month untill we really start.

I assume you can't load it by double clicking on it rather than trying to load it through the main menu in game.

My understanding of the problem would indicate that if it works for both kloreep and I, it will work for everyone. Just gotta get snoop, klo, and I all on at the same time to get a working version.

The mod doesn't have anything to do with the message you're getting, so unfortunately I don't know what to tell you.

I've also personally had some odd recurring previous version things (which is what i'd classify your problem as) ... such as TXT_KEY_BLAH_BLAH things where my xml files are correct. My feeling is it has to do with the cache ...

You might consider installing under a different user name after uninstalling ... there's a chance that could start over with new properly installed files.

Other than that, I don't have any suggestions, though I'll check if anyone I know can help ...

If it's before, we can post the saves on the beta-tester forums. If it's only after the password has been entered...

not currently

of people who have posted in the last two weeks.. (I think others don't know the game is starting), only one is able to install the patch and play it...

UnO and I are both on-line at the moment, would be a good time to get it done if that's what we're doing...

By loading the mod prior to loading the save, we have improved the situation to no crashing to desktop, and more errors:
