RESOLUTION: War on the Aztecs

6 Cossacks and 3 Musketmen could hold off anything the Aztecs would throw at us until reinforcements arrived. That is if they even attacked. We currently have a +4 relationship with them.

I missed the silver, but we could have furs and whales for the cost of a settler and a little time.

The size difference between France and the Aztecs presents the technology edge situation. Because the Aztecs are significantly smaller than we are they will probably not reduce the technological edge we have over them. France being bigger and having more room for expansion could reduce the technological edge we have over them as time passes.

For the record, Cossacks against Muskets, Knights, Pikes is a safer bet than Knights v Longbow and.Spears.

I’m assuming this is at the stage where Cossacks are still 18 strength.
