RESOLUTION: War on the Aztecs

And so it has come to pass that the might of the Aztecs can been found at the doors of our newly captured lands.

We the government plan to liberate the Aztec people, from this tyrant Montezuma, and bring the People into the great Nation of Concordia.

This effort will require a concerted effort, effort that will be wasted without your approval.



We, the government seek your approval to declare war the Aztecs, once MoD General Paddy the Scot has determined our troops ready.

This resolution also recognizes the strategic use of cease fires and cessation of hostilities (peace agreements) as a time honoured tool of war to further the aims of Concordia, and that these do not, in any way, disallow further resumption of hostilities against the nation of India.

People of Concordia - allow this government to do your bidding and vote yes!

I’m afraid it’s the same old story from me.

I support the war but not the resolution.

I must have missed previous chapters of your story couerdelion, why the two faces on this issue?

France should come first.

They are currently tecnologically further behind the Aztecs.

France has primary possession of a larger continent than Greece/Aztec control. This means they have a greater chance to grow and become bigger and stronger. (Like a snowball rolling downhill.)

The larger continent is also more for us to acquire in one war.

If we wait to acquire Cossacks it will be Cossacks against Musketeers and Knights.

Occupying France would give us direct control over Gems and Incense. Aztecs do not control resources we don't.

A surprise attack by France would be on our homelands. A surprise attack by the Aztecs would be against the newly occupied lands.

The fact that the Aztecs are ahead of France tech wise, is one of the reasons to focus on them.

The newly occupied lands IMO, are part of our homeland - not some far flung protectorate I would be willing to sacrfice.
