  • Turn Reports

    This thread is for posting turn reports and only turn reports. Do not use it for discussion, only for turn reports. If you want to discuss any part of a report or ask questions, please use this thread or start a new one. Any post that is not a turn report will be deleted.

    A turn report is posted by someone who's present during a turn chat and contains a concise turn-by-turn log of all major in-game events. This allows people who were not present during a chat to see what happened in the game without having to wade through a long chat log that has a very low info-noise ratio.

    Especially important events (founding/conquering of a city, discovery of an advance, completion of a Wonder, etc) are bolded. As a rule of thumb the sort of stuff you'll find in the replay.

        SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

        As live turn chat #3 was due to commence news filtered through that Paddy was unable to attend due to a family emergency. Those present decided to wait for 15 minutes before deciding what to do. At 09.15 GMT a debate started about whether to continue session and after 20 minutes of discussion it was decided to continue session with highest ranking official deputising for Paddy. Paddy made contact and urged group to play on so Fed1943 took control of the reigns for this session. All agreed to play only up until Archer completion and city growth to size 3 (6 turns) or until important decision. Wishing Paddy good health and best wishes they continued in the name of Concordia.....

                      - Robin and Sam remain fortified ready for the imminent attacks
                      - Sleepy, after much discussion, moves 7 of Apolyton into forest ready to road next turn (headed for new city site)
                      - We finally agree to stick with the poll's decision and settle on site B, on the coast near the horses North of our capital

                      - Our first settler is built and quickly named Stinky by our illustrious President! He moves 7 into forest
                      - Little John moves 3 to protect Sleepy (who has just started building a road) and Stinky from approaching barbar archer
                      - Compo moves 7 to uncover a beautiful lake and the vaguest outline of a coast not too far away.... intriguing
                      - An eagle-eyed citizen suggests that we rearrange our work force so we can grow quicker and only lose 1 turn on our axeman. The population agrees so we are now working a forested grassland (3 from Apolyton) instead of the iron.

                      - Sam is victorious against first barbar archer, another brings up the rear

                      - Robin and Sam keep up their defensive positions

                      - Stinky moves 7-7 and is safe for now under Robin's protection
                      - It is decided to move Bill 7 into the same forest as Little John as he is not completely 100%

                      - Both Sam and Little John are victorious, although unlike Sam (who comes away unscathed) LJ is wounded (1.6/3). We decide to keep him where he is so he can heal

                      - Compo moves 1, ever closer to our new city site
                      - After a short discussion we decide to move Robin and Stinky separately, Robin moves 8 first, then Stinky follows suit
                      - Our Interior Minister arrives and flexes his ministerial muscle to get the workforce back on the iron!
