Who pre ordered Civ IV?

i ordered from take2 directly and my copy was sent yesterday. 4-6 days to europe according to USPS.

i ordered my second, non-presell game from play.com (hoping for the multilanguage european version) and they say 28th is the shipping date.

Pre-ordered mine at local EB store and saved 10 bucks 'cause they made a mistake of posting CAD$ 49.99+tax in store. I paid in full and they couldn't bump it upto the regular price (CAD$59.99 + tax).

The special edition isn't as fancy as the civ3 special edition. But, it's still better to save some $$$ and get the better lookin' package.

You know, EB games online is now selling the "pre-order" version as "civ 4 with bonus"

If I was a pre-orderer, I would be pissed. I thought the extras were just for them.

It turns out you can get all the same crap without pre ordering.

And Yin said he got an off the shelf one with the spiral bound manual at a store...what the?

well..im just glad I am scheduled in next week to have my civ iv play tested over at Amazon to make sure its a good copy

but yeah..pre order edition should mean something..

I didn't pre order and because of that I have to wait an extra day. Or maybe I should troll all the stores tomorrow and see if any have the special edition available so I can get a tech tree en francais and a backwards cover.
