Called Tilt in Tampere ealier today, and the salesperson told me the same... 4th! He didn't even let me finish my sentence when I started saying, "I would like to reserve..." He interrupted with, "If it's about Civ IV, the release date is now the 4th!" Guess I'm not the only one he disappointed.

Yeah, I was pretty amused, especially after having read some posts by conmcb25 (forget which thread) where he expressed frustration at poor customer service. This guy at Tilt didn't even bother with customer service. He sounded like he was downright annoyed at having to talk to me. Just mumbled his name when he picked up the phone. I had to actually ask him if I had indeed called Tilt in Tampere on Tuomiokirkonkatu.

BTW... If anyone happens to find a seller before the 4th... PLS POST HERE!!!!
Yes do that.. and it would be nice if you could include the information about the prise of the game. As I don't have too much money while I'm being a university student.
[SIZE=1] Funny thing is that it looks like CivIV is being released here on CD, not DVD after all. Could it be that we're getting the US version?
I seriously doubt that as the US version is on a bigger box. The publishers would need to pay extra fees for such packages compared to the smaller DVD boxes, also they would not be liked by retailers and distributors who have everything working with DVD-boxes nowadays.

At least one Finnish store is now listing CivIV as a DVD:
Ok... I'm a little bit annoyed ATM. Purchased my copy of CivIV a week ago from Bulldog via their website, but I selected to pick it up from the store instead of having it delivered to me by mail, assuming that I would get it faster that way. As it turns out they decided to mail all the copies they received yesterday so that those that selected delivery would get their copy tomorrow. Unfortunately, the importer didn't send them all the copies they ordered, so it looks like I won't get it tomorrow after all...
I got it today from puolenkuun pelit. I order it september. Damn i got exam in polytechnic tomorrow so i´m not able to play today. My girlfriend likes me more than ever, because 12 h per day is now used with Civ IV Ps. The game really is on dvd.
