Hah... Pre-order arrived today, Manual looks decent to me. Tech tree and manual all english, that's fine too.
2 things disappoint me though... I'ld expected a better qualitiy of the leather box... and why the h*ck are the cd's put in paperboard instead of decent cd box? even a slimline box would have done. Now I have to get such a thing myself. I guess pulling them cd's in and out the paperboard is not very helpful in keeping scratchfree cd's.-------------------------------><------------------------------

Hmm, now that's tempting... not worth it though unless I can find anyone to sell *my* regular edition to for a fair price as well, once it arrives (but that likely won't be for a while... developers are ironically always the last to get their release copies)

I've now also spotted the game in Extra Zone,
but not in mediamart stores in Belgium.
Mediamart did however have civ2 for 5 euro
Oh, and Extra zone is 5 euros cheaper than

BTW, I saw that Gamekings will do a Civ4 review tonight (TMF 21:00, rerun a few times over the weekend). They're kind of the FPS crowd, but it'd be interesting to see what they think of the game...
Edit: and Gammo (Veronica, 18:00) will do one as well. They're also reviewing AoE3 so it'd be interesting to see which scores better...Comment

Gamekings and Civ... Hmmm Wonder how that will pan out. They don't really appear as Civadicts to me... Don't like their show anyway.

On a side-note: Play.com is a good store; I've ordered there before. I still need to get Civ 4, but I'm waiting for the December fever. I think I'll order through Amazon as well... pad the Poly account a bit
