True, when I was younger I went 'Sint Maarten' every year (lived in Alkmaar at that time), and when my family moved to Utrecht later on we were a bit shocked to find out it wasn't celebrated over there, so when my sister was at around the age to start doing it sh had to go up north... And sadly a large amount of people had stopped celebrating it already, so the harvest was very meager. (Which sucked since I ate most of it )

It needs to be brought back for the sake of feeding the teenage siblings of small children!

In Rotterdam, Gamestore has it.

Mediamarkt told me that they ordered the game but their order somehow got lost.

The Dutch translation is quite poor. Done by a native Dutch who does not know Dutch military and other terms ....
There are printing errors as well. Still, I've seen worse.

Got a German copy in Aken / Aachen for 39,99 at Saturn. If you don't mind a German manual / tech tree, it's maybe worth going there for people living close to there.

Installing goes fine, but when I try to run it I get:

The german manual must be an easier read for any Dutch/Belgain player that knows a bit of German, for the dutch one is really really poor. Badly translated, a bunch of wrongly spelled words on top of that and some other dumb stuff aswell (Confucionism 2x, no Hinduism? ). Glad the game itself is in English.

I had some trouble with installing at first but I kinda expected that and pretty much knew what to do... Reading Civfanatics forum yesterday came in handy. =P

Game runs like a charm (well, minor 'freeze' in a graphic of sound, like all games). Going to be consuming my life for the next year or so...

I would rather have the English manual. But I won't be using the manual for long, I expect.

The ATI workaround didn't help me a bit, unfortunately. I'm waiting for the support center to reply to my mail.

Amen! Play.com may take a little while longer, but I cannot stand such games or computer programs translated into Dutch, regardless of whether the translation is good or bad. What use is a Dutch manual if all in-game terms are in English anyway?

Hmmm... Pre-ordered the game via Take2, has to arrive today or tomorrow. What the h*ck are they doing with my stuff? It is reported to be arrived in the Netherlands on october 29!

I surely hope the customs keep their filty hands of this, already paid for the game AND the shipment, so don't want to pay another pack of euros.

Those who received the dutch things, did you pre-order them? (surely hope you asked for it, I'm not exactly excited to pay this much for a buggy manual and tech-tree as I'm one of those rare species that actually read a manual before playing).

So eager to play now, that I'm about to give in and buy a Dutch copy... Never expected it to be here quicker translated and all then that the UK would get it. Strange!

No, I found my copy in a shop. I never pre-order games, most of the time you only get it later that way.
