The admin password is (necessarily) possessed by the game runner (the person whose computer the game is run on). As such there is no need for another admin, until and unless that person is no longer able to run the game.

I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

The moderator/administrator should be a person not participating in any team or the game itself.
There's no need to be the one that will host PitBoss but it would certainly be more convenient.
I would recommend though we use a second moderator just in case he's needed. We cannot afford losing the admin password...
Again, perhaps I'm not making myself clear, the admin password is necessarily in the possession of the person running the game on his/her machine. This is not because of my preference or anything else, but because it is necessary to enter the admin password to run the game and each time upon loading the game.
I support the idea of having a potentially separate admin (PR is a fine choice) who has access to other forums and such, though. And perhaps periodically a save of the game can be sent to him?

Actually in a game I play, I hold the admin password and the host of PitBoss is another person who participates in the game, and who does not have the knowledge of the password at all.
I must admit it is not the most convenient way. If he has to restart the server for any reason, people have to wait for me to login and start PitBoss.
But I started the game and because people have the tendency to disappear without note, I didn't want to risk losing the admin password. Of source, after a while I found a third party, who does not play in the game, in the unlikely event I lose the password
Hey Gang,
Is there consensus on the double move issue? I am interested in joining -- and may be able to assemble a team in short order -- but I want to be completely clear on rules and such before submitting.
Very well. I am going to attempt to attempt to organize a team of three or more players to throw our hat into the ring. If that falls flat I'll apply for an existing team. I enjoy games like this.
For my two cents regarding double moves.... I am 100% behind playing turns in which movement order can impact outcome (most especially wars, but also settler races to city sites or scout races to barbarian huts) in sequential order. This usually means with the person who ended his turn first on the turn where war began always playing and ending first.

Great!
Snoopy is looking for a team... maybe you can recruit him also?
