  • Basically couldn't be worse. Moineau is probably the best ladder player on average from the Renaissance era onwards. The good news, from a metagaming perspective, is that he has pretty decent social skills and doesn't yell and scream like most ladder players. Of course that's actually bad in-game since it means he may be more likely to engage in successful diplomacy.

Style wise, thought it probably doesn't matter much with all the land more or less settled, Moineau is more of a "build a ton of cities and build a huge army of units unlocked by a large tech rate" than a rushing/choking player.

    • Good to know. However he has to obey to the same in game rules like everyone else and is not magically bringing back The Warning.

And isn't this exactly the challenge we would look for at this stage?

      • All the better, should be interesting.

And we should be able to use the fact that he's so high on the ladder when talking to banana as well.

        • Forgot to mention, Moineau is also very french. So at least we may get Krill on our side

In that case he could have been that frenchman I saw behind his computer in Normandy last week. Btw, I'm back from France and reading up on the last 2 weeks. Things have progressed nicely, too bad about PAL being such bad losers.

              • We should take on PAL in a mano y mano team battleground or something.
