        Jericho finished walls, we can see them clearly on the map. Based on the fact that Jerusalem produced exactly 10 shields again this turn, we know that they build something costing exactly 30 shields last turn - this can only be a chariot. (I have made a slight correction to their military stats as a result.)

        Chichen Itza is easy, as we can see it built a lighthouse. Uxmal is easy; it built something costing 30 shields, ie a work boat for its many fish resources.

        Lakamha build something costing between 41 and 57 shields; likely either a longbow or catapult, both 50 shields cost. It could even be a horse archer (also 50 shields), although less likely there. Lakamha appears to be a military pump for them at the moment.

            Comments: Airstrip One just finished the Great Library, in a triumph of team planning and organization. Now, we desperately need to improve our research, so the city should focus on growing and working cottages for the time being. I have tentatively suggested a spy for the next build; with the wines hooked up, Airstrip One will pick up another shield and finish it in roughly 11 turns. That will give us a chance to move it over to Cape Town and reach the destination around T120.

            We can also build a standard military unit here, if desired. Chariot would likely be the best option in that case, for movement reasons. I do think we should be a spy SOMEWHERE for sticking in Cape Town, and Airstrip One or Pink Dot are the two best candidates.

            Pink is working on military for us right now, first an archer to defend itself then likely some more units for Cape Town (chariots?) I would really like to build a courthouse and granary here, but I think safety comes first. We will also have to leave a fair sized garrison (4-5 units at minimum) here in case Templars come after us as well as Imperio. We are also currently growing the city into unhappiness, so it can work additional tiles (like the hill one being mined by our workers) as soon as wines are connected.

            Long-term, we'd like to put some cottages here. Pink kind of has to emphasize shields at the moment though, at least until the impending crisis is passed.

            Another city waiting desperately for more food. It can't grow into unhappiness because of the two Scientist specialists - growing to size 5 will make the city starve!             Preparing for the impending storm we expect to come from Imperio. Cape Town can build 10 units in 10 turns (by mixing in some cheaper archers) once we finish Heroic Epic, and that's exactly what I suggest we do! Unit maintenance will be a killer, but what can you do?

            I'd also like to build city walls here if we get access to stone, which means if stupid Saxon ever grows to size 2!

              Meanwhile, what is going on with Mutal and Lakamha? We never got a "build finished" message at either city. I believe that Imperio completed a forest chop at both locations (they certainly did at Mutal, as we could see it with our scouting archer) to explain the weirdness. Mutal likely built the chariot (Cuauhtli) we see inside, although it makes you wonder why Imperio would be building chariots given the elephants, cats, and horse archers at their disposal. Lakamha could have built just about anything, as our exploring units will discover shortly...

                  Mutal built something costing 27-39 shields; based on the fact that there's an unnamed chariot inside the city, I'm going to guess that's what they built. (Strange build no matter how you slice it.) Lakamha built something costing 33-49 shields, absolutely no clue what. We can see inside the city, and there's no new units or buildings present. Mayapan built something that cost just a little more than 27 shields; almost certainly another work boat.

                          I have a slight correction from two turns ago: Imperio finished a horse archer in Lakamha on T114, not a catapult. This is the unit we're seeing in Mutal on the current turn. (That's actually a good thing, because otherwise it would mean they had a cat AND horse archer!) I misread the bar graph - it was actually 156k and not 155k, and that made the difference! I will update the "Rival Militaries" thread with the new info later.

                          Looks like Lakamha got a forest chop this turn, because even it can't produce 47 shields out of nowhere. Uxmal finished something costing 49-55 shields, so I strongly feel that this is another horse archer (second option = cat). We will be able to tell next turn with the Power bar update. Imperio's going really heavy on the Mounted units, so we'll likely want to have crank out lots of War Elephants in response.

                                Mutal finishes a catapult, which we can see via line of sight into the city. Lakamha doesn't appear to have finished a visible unit, so I'm calling *SPY* on this one. It would also fit with Imperio having had a spy get caught two turns ago. Their other four cities are all right around 30 shields, oddly.

                                The Warning is a shield monster! PAL is definitely getting good use out of the Bureaucracy bonus there. Not sure what happened at Helio, it didn't finish a building, according to a view of the city... Alexandria might be building a forge, and getting the doubled production bonus. Hard to see how it could get so many shields otherwise, only being size 5.
