Is it worth asking banana not to end their current turn? It will tell us for sure when the timer will tick over.

I have sent the following email:
Hi Donovan,
On an unrelated point ... we have a favour to ask: We would like you to not press enter to end your turn this turn. We have a hunch that Imperio will declare war on us next turn, so we would like to know for sure when the timer will tick over. This is for a couple of strategic reasons, but also to make sure that Imperio don't double move on us, since they are always last to end their turn, if they do it at all. Of course we could be being paranoid, but don't be suprised if you hear the sounds of Mayan war horns next turn.
Thanks,
Realms Beyond.

Thanks Banana, it feels good to have trustworthy ally in this game.
As for what you could do to aid us in the upcoming war:
1. You could cancel the Clam - Corn deal with Imperio. Team RB would be happy to supply you with a health resource to compensate you.
2. You could close borders to hurt Imperio GNP wise. With your (soon to be) 6 cities you should be fine w.r.t. intercontinental trade routes with TeamRB and Templars
Thanks
TeamRB

Hi,
question is, do we want to make our informal "alliance" with Banana public? By canceling the deal and closing borders, Banana would openly side with us. While they've more or less done so anyway, I don't think it's wise to make it "official" for such a small gain.
