Guys, I know I´m not the admin, so none of what I ask I can demand an answer to, but I may be able to explain one or two of your problems if you do answer me.

    1) Were the units that they moved at the start of the turn the saame units that they moved at the end of the turn?

    2) Were the units that they moved at the start of the 500BC turn moved at the start of the 475BC turn?

    3) What is your understanding of the double move rule?
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

Krill, the rules are quite clear. NO UNITS can be moved by PAL in the new turn unless we have moved ours first or 24 hours have passed.

      RULES OF THE GAME:

The Double Move Rule : 48 hour turns

      1. No double moves during a time of war, except as noted below.

During times of war all concerned Civ's should allow for 1/2 the turn timer (24 hours) to pass between moves if the other Civs involved in the war have not moved since a concerned Civ has moved.

In other words: You cannot make moves during periods of war until either one of two things have occured:

      i. All other concerned Civs in a war (being at war in game) have made moves/completed one turn since you have made your moves/completed a turn.

ii. 1/2 the turn timer (24 hours) has past since you made your moves/completed your turn.

The reason "made your moves/completed your turn" is worded that way is that a team can log in make some moves, log out, log back in and make more moves. Once a team makes ANY moves the requirement that says a team must make a move/complete a turn is fullfilled.

      2. No moving of units after you have pressed 'End Turn'

          Possible note to Imperio

          Imperio,

We Rabbits find ourselves in a bad way. It is distinctly possible that we could be eliminated within a number of turns. Do you want to see PAL control this entire continent? If not, we offer to become your vassals. At this point we want to do what we can to ensure PAL loses this game.

          (end of message)

I think we may be at such a disadvantage now to warrent this extreme move. We in no way give up the notion of winning at all, yet realize it would take some quite extrordinary events for us to win.

As I asked before, are we willing to subjegate ourselves like this to survive?
Yes, negotiations could take some time.

The units with which they attacked Valley Hutch in 475 BC hadn't moved yet less then 12 hours before turn 500 BC ended, so yes. They waited more then 36 hours to play 500 BC which is over 12 hours of the time we were required to wait to let them make their moves.
Granted, it was close to impossible to figure out when the turn was playable and when not because some team pauzed the game but it was also not like PAL had such a shaky military position towards us that they couldn't afford to let turn slip by.

No, they didn't move units at the start of 500 BC within our field of view, something they've done ever since declaring war on us. They are quite proficient at playing a turn early.

Basically, my understanding is that the first team to play in a war has to do so before 24 hours have passed so the second team has time to play their turn, and that the second team gives the first team at least that timeframe. We've given them 36 hours in that turn.

                Agreed.

For those unknown with the voluntary vassalage issue: if we offer our vassale to Imperio (or Banana for that matter) we can (I think, not sure here) dissolve it of our own after 10 turns, or (this is confirmed) break free automatically once we have a huge increase of population/territory compared to which we started the vassalship.

Things are starting to happen. How do we proceed with this? Should we demand a reload and/or some other form of punishment? Can this game take more hang-ups and delays without dying? I don't want to kill this game for the other teams...

Actually, I should be the one who is sorry for snapping out that reply so harshly, so I am sorry about that.

                          PAL started making responses.
Unfortunately (I just checked) I have no screenshots from turn 500 BC. The only one that's useful is from 525 BC which clearly shows the stuff PAL could do in 500 BC but hadn't done. It shows also that PAL must have moved their main army AFTER they officially finished their turn (see the * before their teamname) and after I finished our turn, because there's no other way an army can sits on the Egyptian border in 525 BC (after they finished their turn thus) and take Valley Hutch in 475 BC when it still has to make 3 moves in order to accomplish this. Hadn't spotted this before with the holiday confusion. Sorry 'bout that.
                          So that's a second dispute.

Posted by some guy in the disputes thread named tonyciv4:

"Well the tracker being down is not helpful.

The bottom line is they are picking strings because they are in a precarious situation.

I don’t have any motivation to continue this discussion.

It was meant to be a fun game; but the game constantly being down/delayed and therefore impossible to know how long until turn flip; combined with this ridiculous situation has killed it for me.

The game has become a joke … Banana have been inactive for god knows how long … Rabbit do not even have the base technologies, god knows what they have been doing all game … And we are 90ish turns in after 10 months!

As I pretty much make up all of PALs active team, you can take this post as our resignation from the game."

It ain't over 'til the fat rabbit sings.
Yes, negotiations could take some time.

Btw, if anyone wants the original screenshots on the double move issue sent to him just tell me (and give me a mail addie). I can only post 800x600 sized pictures here, and sometimes that's too small to have all the necessary data on it, so that's why some screenshots are so tiny in resolution.
