Will you do for us something for nothing...at least at this moment? Believe me, you have in us people who are capable of gratitude and who, though rabbits, have the memories of elephants. We would be grateful.

The relationship you seek can be found in us. We are in a corner, we need to get out. You are in the middle, and need friends. I think we can use this as a foundation for future co-operation.

Geo, I tried Rob's link to the communications dealy in the PAL intel thread. Get a message that I wasn't connected to the internet of all things. Here's my reply from that thread...

"When I click that link it informs me that I don't have a connection to the internet. Very odd, since I assume they sent me that message over it."

If I were them I'd turn us down and ask for something rather than 'something for nothing' as we proposed.

I've been considering seeing if they can be moved from that potential position so as to be ready should a reply be needed. Who knows, something to think about and taylor to their reply. Here goes.


We thank you for your response. It is unfortunate that we could not found our relationship upon co-operation. So unfortunate that we thought it worth giving it another go. There are other ways that we can explore beyond your civ, such as a work boat or naval vessel. In fact this option is close to fruition. If we must do this however it does away with this opportunity to establish an early friendship between our civs which could grow into trade, mutual defense, as well as further world exploration now only in its earliest stage. For instance we could share a good bit of intel developed by our scouts that you have only not to help, but merely to permit passage. Truly, we give nothing at this time, but you lose nothing and there is so much potential that we thought it worth another chance to mutually benefit.
