I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. Here's why I think the scout shouldn't move 8->9.
Look at the map. If the scout ends up on that position, it won't be able to move 2 plots next turn, while from the look of it there's only more coast towards the north east. If so, the scout can find out at leisure from next turn onwards.Last edited by GeoModder; February 13, 2010, 15:51.Comment

It looks like moving 7 would reveal the most tiles and still allow us a two tile move next turn. I'd say Scout 7.Comment
