How'd you feel about moving 9 this turn, and next turn 4-->7? It will wind up just north of the plot in which it would end now if we were to move it to 7, but by doing it in two turns we have visuals on our north east too. Again, just in the off chance there's something of interest there.
By the looks of it, there's for sure 1 grass plot without forest on the other side of the river, perhaps 2, so two tile move won't be a problem.
On the bright side, there's place for a marble/wheat city there, or next to the river, or next to the coast.

For next turn, I think north scout better go 9, as we need to know both coast and river to place 2nd city, and the south scout can see the
interior tiles where river is.
I hope the next turn player be skilled enough to get mining or agri

At least, if my rabbit eye spotted the nature of the dark plots correctly.
Btw, what has hut popping to do with skill? It's a case of luck if you have only one shot at it.

I think the goal should be to keep discussion about what will happen in a particular turn to one thread.
We are now discussing NEXT turn, even though it's still "this" turn on the clock.
It's been my experience that it goes better for both turn players and lurkers alike to be able to follow the discussion if that discussion happens in a logical location.
The moves proposed above will be happening in turn 3, thus IMO should be in a turn 3 thread.
