I am just back from Norway.

Give me a cheap pint of beer please: anything under £7 a pint will do just fine.

British Pounds? I thought you were Irish?
Which part of Norway have you been to?

3 days Bergen and then by rail to, 3 days Oslo.

And the Myrdal - Flam railway as part of the 'Norway in a Nutshell' one day tour .

I had an excellent time and the weather was great. Not a drop of rain.

But my, the price of drink.

I am Northern Irish: so I think in pounds sterling.

                Ah, that explains it.

Not a drop of rain? I guess the high pressure area above Scandinavia really works then. When I was there some years ago, every three days was rather rainy (which was still a good average). Myrdal you say? I must have passed the area by car when driving from Bergen to the Jotunheimen. Beautiful area indeed!

                  Hercules staggers into the bar.

'It's so empty and dry out there.
I was thinking of running a fantasy Euro 2008 game, to liven the place up.

                  What!
                  It's been done and dusted?

The best headline I saw was:
