Just took a test with an as yet unclaimed civ. Seems like the first player to enter said civ has to set the password or leave it open. (I didn't log in, just looked if I had one or two lines to put the password in)
Locutus, if you entered your teams password for those other 2 civs, they'll have a problem logging in. If you haven't, it might be those 2 teams can't give in their choosen password anymore. Those teams need to test that.
Methos, if you had the choice of entering our team password, we're 'protected' then.
Don't know if there's an option to set the passwords before any player logs in, so this could be normal.
It sounds like the teams Locutus transgressed will have to decide whether he has to leave or not.
In any case, this could have been avoided if Snoopy had entered each civ and set the password for each team before anybody else checked in.
