I think it might be easier to run a first round with a single leader preference then see how many duplicate leaders we have, and take it from there: one duplicate out of seven doesn't seem too lacking in variety to me, but seven Sitting Bulls might be a bit OTT.

Any more thoughts on this, either as individual players or as teams opinions??

I don't like multiple leaders too.

Can I suggest we have the following ruling on the matter :

Multiple civs are allowed, but each civ must have a unique leader.

Teams are to submit top 5 leader choices to CyberShy by PM

If there are any duplicate leaders he could roll a dice to decide. Highest score wins, fair and square.....

If there are no objections I will forward this ruling on to CyberShy, the mapmaker, on Sunday 13th April at 10.00 GMT.....

I think the Templars should get first choice because we have the coolest civ.

              Rabbits choose last.

(or Rob's suggestion as an alternative..... )

                Sounds fine to me Rob.
I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

I just hope that one team does not loose out on its preferred leader to another team, which will drop out before we actually start ...

If we're being pedantic, it should be seven leaders per team, but 5 should hopefully suffice (and will be hard enough to agree anyway).

¿We can mix civs and leaders?

IIRC, the majority voted against unrestricted leaders.

I'm in favour of allowing duplicate leaders, far better to start with a "happy" game where everyone has what they want.
I don't have a problem if everyone has the same leader, let's see who plays it best

Indeed. We have 4 Carthages in the C4WDG and that seems to work just fine

You can please some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.........

It looks like we could go round in circles here forever.

As we now have just one week to get our team civ choice to CyberShy I suggest we just pick who we want and get on with it!!!!

Team Leaders, please PM CyberShy with your civ choice and let the dice fall where they may........

I know sooner the better but what's the latest date to notify Cybershy of Civ leader choices?
