Moral Philosophy 101
Quite right. There is no problem with 'cheating' against a thing that has no (moral) reason or free will. You are not thereby failing to respect any dignity which is due to it. Cheating (without the inverted commas) is a no-no against human beings who possess both (moral) reason and free will, and therefore a dignity which must be respected.
Unless, that is, you think that cheating against a creation of Sid Meier is inherently sacriligious.
