TO Field Marshall Jack (secret):
We have now taken over York, we procured another 10,000 prisoners. Resistors have been dealt with and martial law instituted. We've fortified the city, and should be safe from any counter-attacks until the Americans arrive. We must now consolidate our gains and bring up our supply lines, we must take Warwick. We've captured lots of English weaponry and ammo which shall be useful.
I understand your point, and I applaud your will. It's just difficult at times to push my troops through the meat grinder, maybe thats why I always feel I must join the battle. I believe you made the right decision, a risky one, but it succeeded. We were victorious, the men were outstanding, they did not waver once.
Anyways, I will be working on our next plans for our advance. We must take Warwick first, Coventry as well, before we do anything else. We shouldn't stretch ourselves any further until those two cities are secured.
Also, replacements are needed. As well as cannon and musket ammunition. We must make steady our supply lines.
